New guy from Chicago
Hi, I joined this forum to get some info on impoving the performance and gas mileage of my 1998 MC with the 3100 engine. The mileage on my MC is only 3900 miles and it's been in the family from day one. If anyone here can offer any advice or info, I would really appreciate it.

Looking good, welcome aboard.

It needs a little bit of work but will have to wait till spring. I need to replace the front seats, the foam is dry and crumbling.

I live by Central and Montrose. People keep telling me that there's not much I can do to the 3.1 engine.
|
I don't think there is a lot you can do to the 3100 its basically the same as a 3400 and when I had my 3400s it was even hard to find just a Cold Air Intake so as far as modding the engine I dont think theres really a lot you can do, but Someone will correct me if I'm wronge.

I live by Wilson Park. I can't even find a cold air intake. I'm told that they don't make them for a 3100.
