Long time Monte Carlo fanatic. Glad I found this forum!

Drove an 85 SS as a kid all through high school.
custom Midnight Blue paint with black Nascar style rims, dump exhaust, shift kit, k&n, etc...(the mods you can afford in high school).
Unfortunately my brother wrecked it my senior year.

Now I have an 06' SS. Was patiently waiting for the V8 to come back. I have done very little up to this point. One of the main reasons I joined this forum. I have had some trouble finding performance upgrade up to this point. I have only done the K&N and some cosmetic work to the exterior.

Wish list includes; true cold air, exhaust, programmer, etc... Any advice greatly appreciated. Pics soon to come, my camera won't link to my computer. Crappy usb

I am glad I am the SECOND (edit lol) to welcome you and I look forward to seeing some pics. Until then what kind of cometic changes have you made? What color, etc. Give us some details.

Have only removed the bowtie from the trunk, darkest possible tint, ss lic. plate frame. Nothing major at all yet. I want to possibly replace the front bowtie with all black along with blacking out the back tail lights. Also black for the SS logos on the frnt 1/4 panels would be sick. Not sure if painting those is an option. Have tried locating diff. colored bowties and SS emblems. But no luck yet. I would also like to change the grill is some way.

It is white with the std. 18' SS rims. I bought it as a demo from a dealer & it had stainless exhaust tips when I bought it, but not sure if they are stock?

welcome dood!!!!!! i have me an 06 ss. just pm me and ill get you a list of the possible modifications for performance. i have them all just about memorized in my head due to and extreme want to do alot of it.!!!!!!!

have pics of the 85 but need a scanner to get them on the comp. I will get some of the 06 up when i get back in town. thanks for the welcome greetings fellas
