Hello all. Just wanted to introduce myself, have had several Montes of all years, 70, 76, 86, 88, 02, and an 03 Gordon model. Currently dont have one but hey you never know. I sold my 02 to my mother and she still ahs it. It is Galaxy silver one. I bought most of a Dale Earnhardt kit and placed the #3 decals on trunk, recovered headrests ad placed patches on them, dash emblem, painted ground effects black and put the red striping around it. So, essentially it is a reverse paint scheme. Also has the white lettered Nascar tires and chrome rims. Another important addition is the Intimidator III rear spoiler with a team Monte Carlo decal. I will post some pics of it later this week if anyone is interested in seeing it. What would one of those rear spoilers bring in todays market? Haven't been available for years now. I lucked into that one on ebay a few years back. If she ever sells the car, I am going to re-install the surfboard. Great to be a member. I now own a 71 Impala Custom(wifes car) and a 2009 Challenger R/T(mine) and race a Beretta at the local track on Saturday nights FWD division. FUN FUN FUN.

heyy! welcome to the forum! yup would most def like to see pics of the 02 monte for sure. nice looking cars ya got. do you race on a dirt track? i use to race a 86 monte ss on a dirt track but i've been taking a couple years off for college
I will search for my pics of the 02, I also had the dayglo guage covers installed. Those are nice. I race at Anderson Speedway, it is an asphalt circle and figure 8. Very popular track. It is the fastest quarter mile oval in the world. High banked, kinda a mini Bristol. Actually Kyle Busch raced there last year and won in some event. Very nice cars on this sight, as I have been going through the posts.

really? that's cool. i recently moved from pensacola and 5 flags speedway was maybe 4 or 5 miles down the street from where i lived. saw the snowball derby this year and kyle busch won =[
Welcome to the forum... I would love to see pics of the '02!!!! that was pretty much what I wanted to do, black gfx, with red pin stripe!!!
The spoiler you should ba able to get decent money for becasue of the fact that the 06, 07 Nascar spoilers are hard to come by and the fact that it's a direct fit over the oridinal bolt holes makes it even better.
