Thanks again everyone for the welcoming; as far as what colors to paint them, I have been thinking about it for a long time now and I have been having trouble on picking exact colors because rust oleum only has a limited color selection...just kidding everyone.. I think Im leaning towards a fathom blue or something like it on that 72, and I want to do a black vinyl top. The 70 Im thinking about either black, blue or maybe some kind of red and a new vinyl top on that too. I believe the fathom blue might be a factory correct color for that 70 model year; i will figure something out. I have had the 72 about 12 years and the 70 about 9 or 10 years. I am leaning toward selling the 70 even though I would like to keep it. The 72 I plan on doing a complete restoration and keeping it mainly stock, the 402 i will build over stock. I have not seen in person a factory big block monte for quite some time, I wonder how many like mine are left?

I live in Central Florida
I bought my 2002 Monte Carlo LS
back in July 2009 with 139,830 miles
on it, payed just $1,000 for it from a
family member, had a lot of problems
with it at first but after investing about
another 1k into it, it ran great and now
it has almost 152,000, it's been going good
but I plan on replacing cv joints, it also
needs new O2 sensor and a few other small
things but overall I love the car, I'll hopefully
have some pics up soon. I haven't done much
as far as aftermarket yet, I painted the wheel
covers gunmetal grey, which look great, I also
tinted the windows, I'd like to put a spoiler on
it, and maybe some HID's, but that won't be very
soon.
