Ive been living on this site for a while now, but I guess I've never really introduced myself! so,


My name is Mike, and Im currently a college student at DSU in madison, south dakota. I finally got my first car from my parents for being so patient. Luckly, a 2001 monte carlo was in my garage when I came home for spring break last year. since, ive been just trying to make it what I hope it will be! unfortunatly, its a LS and not an SS... so Im torn apart in choices. do I keep it stock? should I throw my money into how it is? should I engine swap it later? sell it when I can and get myself a SS or better in a few years if I can afford it? ect... I dont really want to think of selling it, becuase, well, it is my first car.


Heres a few picks of it right now. to say the least I do love it for being.... the lesser of the SS breed. its a mut, but its my mut!

there are really two ways to look at it...Show or Pro....

That means make it a show car or a race car... there is more stuff to break when you race... monte is a smooth ride...and will turn heads... save up and get something when your done with school...

Definitly sharp ride... no doubt
