need help!!

hello ... I have a 1998 Monte Carlo with a 3.8L and I am at my wits end with it... I have run into a problem where I had water in the cylinders and in the oil.. so naturally I change the head gaskets, put it all back together and same thing it started and ran but died out and water in the cylinders.. so I replace the head cause someone told me it was cracked.. do all that and all new gaskets(naturally) and get it all back together and get the same problem.. I don't know what to do at this point any suggestions and advice will be appreciated thank you

Are you finding when you pull it apart lot of coolant sitting on the upper intake when you pull the upper intake off?

If so, the check your upper intake. There are two coolant lines molded in the UIM to move coolant in and out of the throttle body. There is also what is called an EGR "stove pipe" that sits between them. Common issue is the nylom of the UIM degrades due to the heat from the stove pipe, greats a hole and coolant from those tube spray into the UIM and gets in the cylinders.
Way to prove it is with the UIM off, blow compressed air in on hole and hold you finger over the other end, see if the air bleeds out where the stove pipe is.

If this is the issue, you have two fixes:
- Replace the UIM
- tap the holes on the LIM and plug them
