Just thought I'd drop in an introduce myself, Just parted with My 87 Grand National and I'm picking up and Extra Clean 86 Monte SS White with maroon interior. The 305 runs good but Thinking bout dropping in a 6.O I have laying around. I'm gonna miss the turbo but not the upkeep. If anyone else is in Nashville or surrounding area please chime in...

Welcome to the forum, you gave up a Buick GN and got an 86SS? What was wrong with the GN? I would love to have one, either way, you made a great choice with the Monte. Post some pics of both cars when you get your full membership permissions.....

The Grand National was just High Maintenance and nolonger having a garage to keep it in... Just made me paranoid parking it outside, So my thinking is I rather 5grand into something more than 15 grand. This way if I get a scratch or something I'm won't as pissed as if it were the Grand National....Plus I still have a GMC Typhoon.........
