Default message center states "high beam out" but it is not

2003 monty SS message states high beam light out, but it is not out, replaced both just in case, no change. using turn signal lights flash rapidly. i replaced the multi function switch, also no change. was told it might be a short or the aftermarket remote starter is the issue. can not located the remote starter box (code alarm) any thoughts as to how to check for a short or where they might have put the remote starter box? dealer is no longer there, so i can not ask them.: confused:

one more thing, this issue started after not using my fog lights for many years I tried it, after that the issue started, note if fog lights are on I have no turn signals.

ok, just replaced the fog, headlight & multifunction switch. turn signals still blink fast and getting message high beam out, I replaced all the bulbs. note: when I put the fog lights on, I have no turn signals. running out of ideas. HELP

found a ground short on one of the fog lights, amazing how many things this effected.

I had this issue before but it had turned out that it was my multifunction switch that was acting up, I replaced it twice already and the last time I saw that the connector that is on the car one of the pins are a bit burnt so I'm not sure what to do about the issue but the third one is holding up fine I just put diaelectric grease on the pins
