Default 1982 Pittsburgh Monte

Starting work on a 1982 Monte Carlo. It has a 350 swap already done, but not done well at all so I plan on playing a fun game of wack a mole to get it where it needs to be. Im between Pittsburgh & Ohio so if anyone knows some good places for parts, and specialty work let me know. The goal is to show up to car shows making noise and turning heads but still able to put a respectable time down at the track.

Welcome! Good luck on the adventure with your MC! Looking forward to seeing pics of it. Think some of our members are from that area.

Welcome to the site! Here are some sites I've used for parts without any issues. OPGI,Dixie Restoration Parts, and Mikes Montes. Hope this helps with your needs.

Thanks Jake, I actually already had those sites on my favorites list with the exception of OPGI. I'lll check that one out today. I also have Gbodyparts.com saved. I work a crazy schedule so getting any time on the car has been rare. And my arm is in a cast so... yeah slow going, lol. Gonna try and get the motor & trans out within the next month or two.

I got the motor and trans out recently but have been so busy with work that it sits in the garage. I am soon to be taking some time off of work though and the motor is gonna get freshened up. Turns out it is a 4 bolt main which was nice to find out. Vortec 906 heads with a pro comp dual plane air gap intake. Radiator was crap and some mounts so while the motor is out Im gonna go through and change mounts and the cross member to accommodate dual exhaust.
