I do have the 3.5 since it is just the LT and not the SS. Not quite the bullet some of you guys have. It is fun as a daily driver.

I also have mixed feelings about the TripleTreds. They ride a little rougher than the factory tires, but handle much better. The rain/snow traction is amazing though. I have driven through drifts of snow 12-18" deep without problems.

My last vehicle was a 2WD Silverado so this thing is a thousand times better!

yeah they look bada$$, grip nicely, and have a long life.

i guess they have some noise, i get mine rotated every other oil change. thankyou goodyear for lifetime balence and rotation.

cons, it snows a lot and i enjoy going to all the closed down parking lots for doughnuts. you need crappy tires for doughnuts.

if i had to do it all over again i would have gotten the comfort treads. my baby moma has um and her car rides so smooth.

if you notice a rougher ride its cause they are wider that oem and touch more of the road. in other words they arent rounded, like most tires.

Welcome! I am a newbie too.

I am a big fan of the Goodyear TripleTreds. I had them on my 2001 SS and thought they did a better job than the RSAs. Looking to use them on my 2006, unfortunately my 06 has the 18 inch rims. I cannot find any 18 inch TripleTreds anywhere, maybe they do not make them that large? I really wish they would.

The comfort treads are on my T-Bird. They work pretty good in the snow. Since it's rear wheel drive I slide a lot in the winter. I've tried many different sets of tires and none have worked as well.
