I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED THE MONTE CARLOS SINCE THE 70'S

NOW I AM A PROUD OWNER OF A NEW 2004 SS SUPERCHARGED AND AM INTERESTED IN UPGRADING THE AIR FILTER AND EXHAUST SYSTEM AND ENGINE CHIP SO I CAN INCREASE THE HORSEPOWER FROM TO 240HP TO ?

HOPING SOMEONE OUT THERE HAS SOME EXPERIENCE WITH UPGRADES AND CAN GIVE ME SOME ADVISE. ORIGINAL 3 YEAR WARRANTY IS ALSO A CONCERN.

I do not have the supercharged model, but I would start with the hypertech programmer, something other than stock exhaust (Borla, SLP).

Okay, well I just got a 2004 LS with a 3.4 V-6 on Friday. It came from Avis with 26,000 miles
but seems to be in good shape, drives nice and decent power. First of all it needs a better
audio system. Then some more power, Autozone stocks a K&N filter for it @ $45.00 then I think
some bigger wheels and maybe modify the exhaust. It looks just like the one in the picture
here, silver with grey interior. I'll keep you informed how it progresses. Thanks for letting me
