Default Im new and just bought a monte, have ?s

Hello Forum, I am also new to these forums and I have already found quite a bit of usefull info. I just bought a 2003 Monte SS LE non supercharged. My engine has 94k and I would like to know if I should replace the lower intake gaskets soon, and what exhaust systems are good, like should i replace downpipe and get a magnaflow or flowmaster cat back systems? Really those are my first 2 concerns, the LIM fix and exhaust upgrades, Any information would be much appreciated, thanks
Luke

Welcome to the Forum! With the exhaust it all depends on what you're looking for. Exhaust is a common topic on the forum and if you search it you'll find a lot of stuff. I think most people like the SLP Loudmouth setup if I'm not mistaken but I'm sure someone who knows more will chime in.

Welcome to the forum, my intake manifold gaskets were replaced around 116K, you could constantly smell antifreeze in my case from the day I brought it home, it lasted about a month. My lower intake manifold gasket starting leaking vacuum, probably saved me, mechanic tore into it for the engine light, and discovered the upper was leaking coolant.

Welcome to the Forum. I had an 03 SS and rolled 150k miles on it. In that time I never replaced intake gaskets, or had ever had any of that engine apart for that matter, and was fine. Replaced spark plugs at 100k.
