I used to be a T-bird guy. What happened to me?

Once upon a time, I bought a clean, dark blue 1985 Thunderbird, with the regular throttle-body-injected 302 V8. Nice, sleek, aerodynamic bodywork... at least one thing Ford did really well ;) . Tastefully customized with a good tint, cat-back exhaust and manly tailpipe, and (most importantly) new footwear -- 16-inch ROH alloy wheels ( a la '94-95-96 Impala SS!) with 245s all around, it was just my style: smooth, subtle, and special. I became a T-bird aficionado of the '80s and '90s model years, did my homework, and learned a lot about them. I was a T-bird guy, and this was my ride:

It took me all the way through the Nineties, but then one sad night it broke down on the interstate (catastrophic trans failure). Even though that T-bird is long gone now, I'm proud to have owned it; looking back on it, it reminds me of better times and better places.
Flashing forward to today, I've acquired a clean, all-white, ten-years-newer 1995 Z34. (There will be pics!) I like it already, and hope that it'll provide me with better times and memories too. It's good to be in a coupe again; four-doors are just two doors too many for me.
So, yeah! Happy to be here at the MCF, where there are nice rides everywhere.
