hey yall

im new to the forum and just wanted to stop in and say hello. i took ownership of my baby in 2004 and have been workin with her since. like my sig says, she started as a 350/350 2 brl car. she had 52k miles on her at the time. i am second owner on her. the original owner drove it 6 blocks to work and 6 blocks home for those 52k. it was always garaged and samied off if it rained druin the day. the beach seat was only worn on the driver side.
soon after i got her, the 2 brl was was removed and a 750 qjet and eld rpm performer intake. a 440 lift cam and dual 2.75 flowmaster exhaust. that motor stayed in the car until i lost a cam. i pulled it cleaned it and put it in storage. a built 305 was then bolted in. that motor lasted only a few months then failed due to a poor build. (prior owner) i then ran across and 454 400 12 bolt combo for a price that i couldnt say no to. accel, msd, eld, tci. all the name brand parts. the 12 bolt had a broken pinion bearing forced the stock 10 bolt to stay in. she ran good, for havin the stock gears with the big block and 400 turbo.
then one fateful day lead to the end of the 400 turbo. now the motor, tranny and 12 bolt are bein built. the goal is for her to be a terror. i aint worried if she loses a lot of street manners, as she is a sunny day driver only.
the long block is stock with a mild cam. the ignition is run by a 6al box with a pro billit msd hei distrubutor.

i know thats a long story, but that is her histroy and she is my baby.

thanks for all the welcomes. i am stationed in oceanside, ca, but currently i am deployed. i will retuen home round the end of the year. sadly, i do not have her with me. i wish i did. she has stayed in kansas as california doesnt like LOUD cars. it will be the end of the year before i can post some pictures, but if you look up "monte carlo big block burnout" user name 74monte454, on youtube, you can see her. (fun day, but cost me a tranny, and a set of tires) :o
i look forward to explorin the site.
