Dealer claims ignition module bad. I know it's around 150.00 and probably should get new coils and wires so resistance is lower. Where do they get 790.00 from?
I read lots about Bcm, pass lock, etc. are those common? What should be replaced related to the ICM?
Yes I'm an Army civilian safety for the Northern Regional Medical Command at Ft. Belvoir, VA near Washington, DC.

I don't know what besides the ignition control module would be normally replaced. I saw an ad on YouTube that said the ICM must also have the coil units and wires too to lower total resistance. They fail when resistance gets high and energy from spark coil secondary windings feed back into ICM's transistors and fry them causing failure. What do you guys think?

Car went dead on highway, luckily low traffic so pulled off and car restarted. Next morning car went 200 feet and that was it. I know there is much talk about pass lock, BCM, etc. I don't have any weird electrical light issues, etc. so guess that is OK.
