Default here to learn

hey, im here to learn a few things. ive been tossing around the concept of an 00+ ss, converting it to RWD, and throwing in an ls1,...this is not going to be happening for me anytime soon, a project like this would cost a fortune. what i was wondering, is this possible? maintaining a stock look? ive searched through the forums, nothing that i can find. anyway, ill be posting more and more questions like this, about the RWD conversion and ls1, and hope to learn some new things.

One of the car magazines had an article on this several years ago. I forget which mag, or what car company did the conversion. I do remember it consisted of MAJOR modifications that the normal person probably counldn't do.

Welcome to the forum!!

I've often thought of this concept myself, although it would be an expensive modification it can and has been done. Body flex is going to be one of your major challenges to overcome IMO and will soak up the majority of the build cost I am sure.

What we need to do is pull GM's head out of their *** and make them build us a RWD Monte.
