Default Hello.

Hello all. New guy here and want to introduce myself. I am Dennis. Married with 2 sons, and live in North East Ohio.
We have a '98 Monte Carlo that has less then 350 miles until it hits 300,000 total. ( original motor and trans too) I am the second owner of this car, my Mother in law being the first. I know all the history of this car.

Growing up my parents had a '75 Monte that they got rid of before I was able to drive it.

My really passion is for Jeeps and I have quite a few. I have a '96 Cherokee, '47 CJ2A, '46 Cj2A (parts) and early CJ2A tub and a Frankenstein of a Jeep. ( CJ5 frame extended, 2A motor, GPW head, blah blah...)

I will post pictures up as soon as I find some...

Dennis

Thanks for the welcome!

I had to replace the fuse box under the hood, everything corroded away.

The driver's side rear strut broke on me when I was about to get on a freeway. Actually the spring cracked and all the weight on one side pushed down the spring plate into the tire.

Everything else was normal replace items: tires, exhaust...

I just remembered I need to replace the turn signal switch. A piece broke off and I had some corrosion in there. If my foot is on the brake and I turn the left or right signal on the opposite side goes out.
I took it apart and cleaned it up so now only the right goes out if I turn left

No mods, really don't want to mess with it. For the most part it has been great as is.
