Fresh Paint, first post

Just got my 2001 SS back from the body shop. Man she is looking good! I hope I can keep the deer away from her now.

New member, first post. I love this site.

Welcome to the MCF

 Welcome to the Monte Carlo Family.
What color did you have it painted ?
How many miles on your S.S. ?
Was the paint job expensive ? Did you have any body work ?

Look forward to seeing pictures.

She's a 2001 silver SS with a thin red and black pin stripe following the top of the Monte Carlolines. It turned 75,000 miles on the way home from the body shop. The paint job, new bumper, hood, a/c condensor, headlights and such was $3750. All the body work is original.

I am planning a few under the hood mods like cold air box, computer tuner and some stainless exhaust.

I will post some pics later today.

Warm Welcome / wheel question

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Looking forward to posting some pics and seeing other guys and gal's mods. I want to keep the stock look but add some muscle.

The one question I have currently is about how to restore or replace the original wheels. They still look good but the clear coat or outer finish is starting to have tiny cracks. Any suggestions?
