Forum New Guy

Hello everyone. I've had a Monte Carlo for about 3 years now. I bought it used in Nashville, Tennessee and drove it home to Michigan. I have put about 40k on the car. I love it! I am just now starting to get the balls to do work on it. I just got an alpine head unit for my birthday, now it's time to install the rest of my equipment! I've got some questions that need answering and some ideas I want to show off. Which brings me here to montecarloforum.com, hopefully ya'll know more than I do!

I've got a 2002 with just about 97,000 miles on the body. about 30k on the motor, and MAYBE 10k on the trans... MAYBE. i've got a 3.4 w/stock amplifier under the rear deck and no onstar. and at the moment everything is absolutely stock, but its got to look great, i get compliments all the time!

soon to come is my system. but i need to find a local smart guy that can fix my pc1800 for a reasonable price.. i've got an alpine CDA 9885, two precision power amps (kicker850.2 for now till 1800 is fixed) and three jl 10w6's.

i need interior parts so i can go fiberglass crazy without damaging stock panels.

i dont have many pictures right now except for my cellphone pictures in my album. i've got a camera to get developed and i'll later post those up.

anything else you wanna know just ask!

thanks for the warm welcome!
