I wouldn't count the dealership as an owner. I'd say you are the second owner. Mine was a dealership demo that never sold until I bought it in 2007. According to all the official paperwork, I'm the first owner of the car.

How can i figure out which model number my dale jr monte is? i know they made around 2800 of them if anyone could help me i would appreciate it

there was 2883 JR editions made. mine is number 164, since I bought the car used and I am the second owner I call GM's customer service number and provide them with my VIN #. I took some time and I was on hold for a period of time but the operator checked and told me what my production number was. I hope this helps

Theres a gm number you can call its on either page one or two

1-800-222-1020 = Gm customer service. Make sure you have your vin ready. When you ask for documentation make sure you ask them to put the vin along with the sequence number. (makes it look better!)

I remember when this site was over runned with Intimidator editions. The Dale Jr editions are making a come back.
