2002 monte carlo dome light

I have a issue with my dome light. It doesnt turn on when you open the doors or unlock it with remote. If you turn it on with the headlight switch it stays on for 30 seconds and shuts off. When you close the doors they turn on for 30 seconds.

Forgot to mention the door switches are good. When you lock the car after shutting door the lights shut off
