2002 mc ls
So whats up everybody. Im new to the forum and acquired myself a very decent looking, very stock, 2002 Monte Carlo LS. Every website i go to only has perfomance parts for the SS models, so does anybody know of a website for ls performance parts?? Or does anybody know if the SS parts are compatible with my LS?? Please any advice is welcome.

Welcome to the forum!
The 2002 SS features a 3800 (90 degree v6) and the LS has a 3400 (60 degree v6). Engine related parts on the two are not interchangeable except for coil packs and maybe cold air intakes.
What are you looking to do with mods on your 3400?
The thread below might be a good starting point:

The V in V6 is referencing the the fact the cylinders are positioned a V shape. 90 and 60 degree is the angle of the cylinder walls.
That being said, the block and everything on a 3800 is different than a 3400/3100.
Take a look at the document I linked to. It has a lot of the basic/cheap stuff.
Taking from that document (and personal experience with the 3400's in my drive way, my '04 Grand Am and my wife's '05 Impala), I would look to do the following:
- Get L67 (3800 supercharged) coils. Don't go crazy spending money on them, get a set for about $30-$40 and you're good to go (this is one of the few/only things interchangeable from a 3800 and 3400).
- Remove the resonator (it's after the Cat and before the mufflers). It's a restriction and all it's there for is to change the pitch of the sound to the engine.
- Get a good quality air filter/gut the air box (a link about that is in the article I linked you to) or buy a CAI.
- Look for a company that can do a complete performance tune on the car (hold off if you are planning anything wilder, these mods don't require retuning).
That's the cheapest list of mods to bump the performance a little bit.
I have more info in that link, but those 4 are what I'd recommend going with.
