Default 1986 Monte Carlo LS

Hello Monte Carlo Forum,
I posted here about a year ago talking about my "PROJECT". Since then I have got some things done and other things have presented them self. I have been making a list of things to do and since I am in college it has been rough trying to finish it. The Monte is my first car and my only car, and I am hoping before I go back to college in August to get it finished. It didn't help that last year I hit a deer. Heres a picture of it currently, I'm on the left:

Now to find the time to finish it. Haha

I actually plan on working on it again today, if my father is free we will be taking the header, fender, and hood off. Replacing the fender and header with another one i have sitting around, then putting it all back together. When i hit a deer last year it buckled the fender so it no good anymore. Once thats dones the major stuff left is:
-Swap the Y-Pipe with the new one i have.
-Get a Cat and put it on.
-Replace the door with one i have laying around.
-Replace the gas tank.
-Swap the trunk lid with another one.
-PAINT!!!

The engine runs strong, starts up no matter how cold is out side. It picks up when i need it to. It does have 224k+ Miles on it at the moment. The majority of my time and money since I have gotten the car have been put into making it mechanically sound. Its only the 262 V6 but given the price of gas, I am not complaining. And she has a lot of power on her own.

Yes, with the high cost of `gas, you are lucky to have a v-6 that gets good MPG's...Thanks for your reply

Now when car dudes get 2gether they aren't asking how fast your car is, but how many miles per gallon are you getting & that sucks for Sure....Especially if you like Muscle Cars...

Below is a article I had that I thought U might like 2 check `out...when U have time...Good Luck on your Project
