First and foremost...
Welcome to the best dang forum on the Net!
Thanks for sharing your Hot Rod Monte Carlo with your new MCF Family!

I have a question...
When you lightened the K frame.... Did you rebox it in with added support for the new Bowtie Power? Since you converted it to rack and pinion? I'd hate to think that the first Launch its definitely going to pull the wheels up... Its the Landing im concerned about.

Since you said your still running the 10 bolt style rear gearing... Are you running a Mini Spool? or are just the spiders welded? what ratio is in it now? My memory isn't what it should be if you did say what gearing is in it...

I would probably consider going to ford 9" rear end or go to a 12 old style pig type.. That way youll be better able to swap the gearing to dial it in.

I think you probably mentioned what trans your using... Have you or are you running a 2 speed power glide? (My memory sucks)

I really couldn't tell exactly what style distributor your running... Is that an HEI? or something else?

Are you planning on tubing it out and back halfing it?

You definitely have one BadAzz ride!
Please keep us informed as you make improvements!
Thanks for joining the MCF!

Yes the K-Member was boxed in after being hacked up. And I have a 9" Ford with a full spool and 4:11 gears. And I'm running a turbo 400 with trans brake. And just a plain jane MSD distributor off the top of my head, nothing special. And I'd like to one day back half and tub it...we'll see.

Well she's finally done, going to the track this weekend. Here's a quick update.

Got the transmission tunnel and the rest of the interior finished up:

Had to put big block springs in because the front was too low, but here is how she sits now.

Playing in the driveway:

It has taken about 10 months to do this build...it's been a long wait, but I hope it pays off this weekend!
