Default 1977 Monte Carlo

I have a 1977 Monte Carlo I inherited from a sister who died recently. There are no keys for it. What do you suggest?

get a new key/lock cylinder set, pull the steering wheel and lock plate and replace it with the new ignition cylinder

Welcome to the site. Finding a replacement steering column for it may be an option also. Post some pics when you can.

Welcome
A new cylinder an key set might be your best bet.A lot of dealers don't always deal with any thing that old(around my way at least).

Dixie Monte Carlo Depot

Thats one of the better deals I seen for a whole set.Getting this for mine in the near futureHope that helps
