I dunno. Its a good place and and decent ride to cut his teeth in. Like I said, the Fords will be on today and the Woods Bros. ride usually only focuses on races where there can run well. They haven`t tried a young driver for a while. I also think Roush is more involved in this race for them then usual. I wouldn`t be surprised to see a top 10 out of Bayne. But if we`re picking numbers I`ll say...

Trevor Bayne to finish: 9

I'll give Trevor Bayne 36th position, mechanical issues.

Jeff Gordon/Jeff Burton dispute stole the whole race... I do'nt know if the people in the grandstands know it happened though. They made them ride back in the same ambulance... and according to Jeff Gordon, that's because they didn't bring a second ambulance down there!!

So Denny's guys did an amazing job... Greg Biffle and Matt Kenseth were looking alright.

Four Fords, Four Chevrolets, and 2 Toyota's shut Dodge out of the top 10. Trevor Bayne came up 17th.

Thanks Duane for the update, I didn't get a chance to really see much of it! I guess Kevin still has a shot at it and Denny is now in first place.

Thanks Nascar.com for their web site & updates on
the races..I just finished watching/reading about
yesterdays Race.
Congrat's to Denny, & I was happy to read/see
that Joey Logano was running with the Big Boys
and finished 4th...Dale Jr let me down again, but I
still have faith that he will follow in his father's footsteps.
He just has been stumbling
Congrat's also to Mark Martin, he came close.
Bummer for Greg B...2nd gear `out : (
Looks like it's going to be Denny/Jimmy/Kevin
for the title....
Wish I could've watched/listened, but could not : (
Look 4ward to the next race...
I hope if you watched the race that you enjoyed.

Double the fun

Not only did Denny Hamlin win at Texas, again, but he wrangled the Chase lead from Jimmie Johnson, who finished ninth and now trails by 33 points.

Hi `Chris,
Interesting & dangerous find 4-Sure. I did not hear/read about the flying objects flying into the stands
But I've learned that there's danger everywhere 2day...We must be alert & on guard 4-Sure I don't know how they will be able to control this problem without great expense...

Thanks `Chris for sharing...Wish U a `Happy : )

Slip sliding away

Are things starting to slip away from Jimmie Johnson? One final look back at Texas may indicate as much, as his troubles were compounded by Denny Hamlin's win.

Yeah, that was crazy. Somehow, that brake pad came out of the car, cleared a wheel, the fender, the catch fence, all the grandstands, and went through a window of a condo. What in the world???
