Picks/Talladega/Sunday Afternoon
Alright my fellow fantasy NASCAR competitors, we head to Talladega now!
It's going to be crazy.... this place could take you out of a Segment or Overall points title contention, or it could put your right back in it. You could be fine one moment and all three of your guys out the next. The Chasers know this as well. The only one "safe" is Joey Logano, so it will be interesting to see how the other 11 race. Will they hang back and wait until the end? Will they say that's how you get crashed and then just race anyway and hope for the best? I do know one thing though... I'm going to Talladega for the first time in my life! That's right, I will be there and I should be there with the Torino! Pictures of that are certain to come... hopefully no mechanical issues will prevent my plans for getting pulled off. As of right now it's a 60% chance of rain on Sunday but that's 7 days out. :( Also ,remember to congratule Carl Martin who slightly extended his overall points lead. Also, yours truly won last week in Kansas (2nd year in a row, first time I've ever defended a race win), and I extended my Segment 4 lead! But this is Talladega! That could all be over by Sunday! I'm going to take my usual set... I think Joey is going to help Brad again. I bet against them last year and that didn't go over well. 1) Brad Keselowski 2) Joey Logano 3) Ryan Blaney Yee haa! |

Dale Jr's never had better odds. The car he'll be driving has only been used twice before and it is undefeated. But dang, why do we always gotta cut these things so close?
1. Dale Jr 2. Brad K 3. Matt Kenseth |
Ironically, it led a lot of laps in Daytona, but that car was defeated by Joey Logano in the Daytona 500. It was the car that won the Budweiser race on Thursday night when I was in attendance though... and I will be in attendance again this time....
|
I didn't think he used the same car in the Daytona 500. I could be wrong, but I thought he said it was a new car at Talladega last time

In other news, did anyone see me on tv? A few people said they saw me and my car on race broadcast

I guess we're still waiting on this one because everyone knows there should be a penalty. A big one

I did do enough math to get the race figured out and Segment 4 done. My spreadsheet for the overall has to be redone and I don't have time right now and don't know when I will. Hopefully this afternoon.
zJerry won Talladega by picking 1-2-4, which I think is the best anyone has done here since maybe that time Johnson beat Bowyer when they were doing tandem racing. I held the segment 4 points lead, but Blaney's blown engine hurt me. I now hold an 8 point lead over CarlM54STL |
