McDowell proved that a monkey could win driving Pyle Buschit's stuff. But he really blew it on the second last restart (in overtime) and he can blame no one else. He really dominated the race and should have been there at the end. It was a pretty good race.

How was Cars2? I'd love to go see it with my 2yr old, but I don't think she has the attention span yet and she'd probably just ruin it for me...

1. Jeff Gordon, cuz he knows how to get the job done here better than anyone else.
2. Jimmie Johnson, watching Jeffy win. 1st place loser
3. Denny Hamlin, on a roll right now, but just can't get the job done. 2nd place loser

My wife (Catherine) picks:

1. Jamie McMurray
2. Deny Hamster
3. Kurt Busch

Her picks need not be scored. They don't count (especially if she beats me). I just thought I share them this time. She always makes picks. Although you'd think she is heavily influenced by me, let me assure you she never listens to a word I say! And I never let her know my picks before she makes hers.
Its actually a coincedence that she also picked McMurray, but he does look strong this week-end. You'll remember that I started in about him before the first practice...

Everyone who ever picked Jimmy Johnson instead of Jimmie Johnson. I can always put you on secret probation, ya know I was just trying to make a reference to some of the questionable calls NASCAR makes... seems less people question my officiating on this forum.

Cars 2 has a really good plot, some really sleek car references if you're up on your cars... but some of the animations and ways of going about the plot are just a little bit over kill... cars flying, rockets... I mean, ti really does look like that James Bond movie "Die Another Day." I wish they had just stuck more to the cars doing what cars do, similar to the first movie.

Our local drive in lets classic car drivers get in for free. I drove the Torino and carried a battery radio. My parents followed me over with their car, and we met my brother and his 3 kids there. He has 5 and 6 gear old girls and a 1 year old boy. The boy sat in my lap and played with the Torino steering wheel for about 30-45 minutes (old cars have a lot of play compared to newer ones, you know)... then he was ready to play with someone else.

That's awesome that the drive-in is free for you! Killer marketing idea too!

As you can imagine, kids love playing race driver in the drivers seat of the BudChev

I guess that makes me the commisioner or president.....maybe having all those logos on your signatures will get the rest of the forum interested in what we are doing at the bottom of the page! I'd love to get some more people involved really.

Maybe I misjudged Kurt Busch too.. that thing must have a Hemi or something. I'm impressed that Logano, considering his luck and performance this year, hasn't already spun out after starting on the poll.
