It won't really matter. Are you going ot get him signed up on his own account? Maybe he would enjoy commentating with us! Except we might have to force Brent to behave if you do that.

By the way, I may have misjudged Jeff Gordon....

0 -- Laps led at Infineon for Jeff Gordon since his last win there in 2006. Gordon, who won five races in a nine-year stretch (1998-2006; leading the most laps seven times during that span) at Infineon, is the all-time track leader in laps led (437; the next closest driver has 171). Still, Gordon has posted top-10 finishes in the past five races there, the longest current streak. Gordon also is the all-time track leader in wins, top-fives (11) and top-10s (14).

Indeed, he is powerful, as the emperor has foreseen.

Tommorrow's Nationwide Road America race should be a neat one too. Not a lot of familiar faces. Carl has pulled out of that one now too, so of all drivers, Michael McDowell is the only one who going to race in both the Nationwide race Saturday in WI, then the Sprint Cup race in CA Sunday. I thinks its even funnier he'll be driving Pyle Buschit's badass JG #18. Sorta like giving a chimp a gun

Michael McDowell better put on a big show at Road America then. The guy has never had a chance at a good ride. He needs to win the race in a dominating fashion really. He needs to show that with top notch equipment, he can run well. This race may very well be the best shot he has at salvaging his career from being anymore than just a go or go home driver who will start and park if he does make the race.

Carl Edwards did pull out of the Road America win... and that was about a 75% chance of winning considering eveyrone who knows anything about road racing is in the Cup Series to my knowledge. So he must feel that his car is terrible in California for him to stay with it. But, then again, no Nationwide Points... how many trophys can you possibly give away? The guy doesn't need another Nationwide victory... so I definitely agree with his position to just stay in California and try to make the cup car run... especially since I've picked him for this race!

A bit too strong of a statement. He has never won Sonoma and has only 3 top tens in 10 starts there. He's won Watkins Glen once, but his stats there are similiar.

Road courses certainly haven't been good to Junior either. I'd say Jeff Gordon is Chevy's best Hendrick hopeful, but his qualifying was too slow. I said it earlier, but here it is: the Infineon qualifying fact! In 22 races/ years - only 4 times has the winner started outside the top 7! Passing here is just too hard. And one of those 4 wins was Peblo and you will never convice me that car was legal (He started 32nd, but got 7 more laps out of his tank then anyone else - the only reason he won). I don't bet on fixed races, so I'll pick 'em all from inside the top 7... nah give me 8...

1. Jamie McMurray (qualified second, fastest in practice, wasn't I already saying something about him?)
2. AJ Allmendinger
3. Marcos Ambrose

No need to pick last.
1st caution: Paul Menard
# of cautions: 7

Would be a great race for Logano to really break through, but I don`t see it happening.

Cool to see lougreen following my lead with the "trophies" in the sig! I didn't know he'd been winning so much! What everyone else got? (or has it been just me and lougreen?)
