Top 3 doesnt count, helps , but all 3 picks make it. I am in the midst of planning a trip this week to Daytona. Wife says I an Go WHOO HOO, if i leave her $400. to blow. Looking like it might happen. My friend in Murfreesboro is gonna call me tomorrow and let me know what his wife thinks. {see how it is single guys}. May be on my way to Daytona HeHa
And by the way I either won or was close

I hope your Daytona experience is better then mine last year. It was cold and it sucked. But it was also Valentine's Day and there was no getting out of it - I just took my wife with me...

Just kinda eyeballin' it, it looks like lougreen03 when he picked a RCR sweep of Harvick, Burton , Bowyer in that order! Good call! MonteCarlo3831 exposes a hole in our point scoring by picking the same drivers in a different order! Technically, as we would score it, lougreen03 & montecarlo3831 tie! True to Nascar, a very controversial finish!

Thanks for playin'!

Its all the "product placement" during the Budweiser Shootout that does it. I set out with the best of intentions - I was only going to drink milk and eat vegetables while watching the race, but the commercials over whelmed me. Not one commercial for celery through the whole night....

Kurt Busch wins the Bud Shootout: #22-Kurt Busch won the 2011 Budweiser Shootout at Daytona International Speedway for his first ever win at Daytona or in the Bud Shootout and first Bud Shootout for Dodge. A four pack run at the end had #11-Denny Hamlin passing #39-Ryan Newman, but Hamlin passed under the yellow line and was penalized to the end of the lead lap cars, which was 12th. Busch and Hamlin would had been a photo finish, but with the penalty, Busch got the win. #1-McMurray was 2nd, followed by #39-Newman, #48-Johnson, #16-Biffle, #24-Gordon, #31-Burton [led the most laps with 32], #33-Bowyer and #47-Labonte. Pole sitter, #88-Earnhardt Jr. was involved in a six car wreck at the beginning of the 2nd segment and finished 19th. There were 28 lead changes among 9 drivers and 4 cautions for 12 laps. The average speed was 153.142mph. See results, notes, segment 1 results, starting lineup, rules, history, all-time winners on my 2011 Budweiser Shootout page.(2-12-2011)

I tried to figure out who got the best picks, but I just got ConFuZed : ) & will let our "MCF Nascar Historian `Duane" 2 figure it `out : )

Did You EnJoy the Shoot`Out ?
I talked to the day shift warehouse workers that watched last night & they said that it was just `OK & said that `if you didn't have a dancing partner that U did not have a chance...One avid fan stated that it ended `up just being Racing Luck 4 the winner, and being in the right place @ the right time...

I only had the vid's posted on the Web to judge, but I was not impressed...Maybe I'm just 2 tired 2day...

Please post your review of the shoot`out...Thanks
