I don't quite understand Matt's move. It seems sort of lateral and risky. Maybe he's getting bored. He looks bored in the face

I don't know about the Kenseth thing. I actually know some people who think Gordon should leave Hendrick because he is so overshadowed by Kahne, Jimmie, and Junior. Jimmie is the cahmpion, Kahne is the youth, the energy of the organization, and its future, and Junior is the fan favorite. When you look at it like that, there just isn't much room over there for Jeff Gordon....
Something is wrong with Roush in general though. Last year, they had points leader Carl Edwards and he was talking to JGR about that 20 car. This year, Kenseth was leading the points and announced he would leave. They have a car they can't keep sponsorship on, they were almost struggling to get a package together for Edwards....
Another thing for Matt is that he won Roush that first championship, and then when Edwards threatened to leave, they threw all that money at him and begged him to stay... made him "the face of Ford Racing." How did Kenseth feel about that? Sitting over there going... "Guys, I got two Daytona 500 wins and a championship....."

Roush should care more about Edwards. Edwards is better and way more marketable then the deadpan Kenseth. Kenseth is a good driver, but lethargic in interviews. That's a tough sell. Edwards will be a part of Nascar for the next 40-50 years in some capacity and probably always on camera...
