I pretty much suck these last few weeks.....

 

03JGMonte said he was tired of poitns racing and wanted to see some real racing... think he made the right choice to go ti Richmond!!!

I did not get picks for RocknSS04... that means only 6 of us have been in every race now... someone point it out to me if I'm wrong.

Well, I picked 1st and 2nd. Jimmie was running in the top 5 when Kurt and Jimmie started. Ultimately Jimmie came out the loser, but it mattered nothing to either of them in the points at that time. And that's why that race was so mauch more exciting then the spring race. Points really mattered for some while points didn't really matter for others.

 

Points... zJerry is still looking unbeatable up there at the top!!!

So it's a close battle for 2nd overall... 5 guys within 30 points... and even though Jimmie fell apart, I had a good points day. I hate to speak too soon or uptalk myself... but I think I have about the biggest points lead anyone has had all year.... all I need is a couple of bad races (Talladega) and it opens up the doors for everyone 2-6th though.

It's a 6 man race for the title. I just don't see how Lougreen or RocknSS can come back from each missing a race.... a big key to this championship it seems is making sure that you get picks in every week. Even if your picks are a disastor, you stilll get some points. 60 points is big... but one bad week, one week where my 2 guys get in a wreck, just a couple of somewhat off weeks, and I'm down again... this thing is topsy turvy. I mean, just look how much ground zJErry gained in Segment 3. He was nearly 200 points out at one point!!!!!

With 10 races to go, I'm going to call the MCF Overall Champion a 6 man race right now. We have one more race in Segment 3, which appears to be easily in the hands of zJerry if he can just get 2 good picks in, and then we have one more segment to go... 10 races, a championship, and 2 segments are still left to be decided.I'm looking forward to goign down the stretch with you guys.
