Picks/Pocono/Sunday Afternoon
Congrats to butch049 for winning Indianapolis! He also takes the lead in the Segment 3 standings, while Leprechaun 93 maintains his significant lead in the overall standings.
I double checked after the Kenseth penalties were handed out, and nobody had picked the 20 for Loudon, so no points penalties have to be handed out here. We're off to Pocono this weekend. I may or may not be home for this one. They're trying to jerk me around a bit on home time again. Anyway, I suspect that rain will be in the forecast looking at the long range models, but we'll know more around Thursday or so when the shorter range models come into range and we can check for consistency. Xfinity will be at Iowa this weekend so tune in for that one as well as it's almost always a good race. Remember, Jeff Gordon will be in the 88 again this week. We might know as early as Wednesday if Jr is returning for Watkins Glen or not. Anyway, I better make my picks and get on the road. Everyone have a great week! Harvick's crew chief suspended over lug nuts. Somehow I don't think this will affect them any more than it did the 41 last time we were here. SHR seems to have a well oiled machine when it comes to crew chiefs being out.
