Well, since the picks are rolling in, I will post mine, taking a driver I haev never picked before thanks to Duanes post.
1. Harvick
2. Montoya
3. Kyle Busch
I need to make up for the lost points last round at Pocono and pull back to the front. Chibi if you are a Nascar fan, why aren't you joining us? Take your ear plugs. It was loud at Indy practice last week, Hunter had his on. I think Indy straightaways are louder than most since it has stands on both sides and the canopies.

I grew up watching Nascar, we used to go to Pocono, Nazareth, and Dover every year. We had a small crappy RV and would camp out. Best weekends we had.

When Rusty Wallace retired I kind of stopped watching. I really have no idea who most of the new people are. I don't watch it much anymore, only when I am visiting my parents. My Dad is still a huge fan, so we are taking him as a belated father's day gift, since the family hasn't gone in forever.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have a headset that let's me listen in on the driver's and muffles the sound

Those really are the best. There are pepole nowadays who have these "RaceView" things that they can watch in car cameras, scoreboard, the TV camera angles, repalys.... I was at Charlotte in '09 and a woman in front of me never took her eyes off of that thing.... I'm thinking, "Why don't you just stay at home and watch it on TV, MUCH cheaper." This woman and her husband left at the halfway mark. It was REALLY cold that night though. She was shivering and freezing. So was I, but that was a $125 ticket.

I see that 77GP is taking the guys I payed Chibi to take out..... I'm still saying Montoya is the long shot. I don't know that he can close the deal, tires or no tires. Brian Pattie is gone from the pit box... so maybe now someone with sense will put tires on the car. The TV announcers, who will usually go along with anything, were all questioning Pattie at that race.

I would have used those raceview things if they were blackberry compatible and free. Then I could at least follow the races when I'm not home on Sundays lol.

But I DEFINITELY wouldn't glue my stupid eyes to a phone while sitting in the grand-stands!

Here's a video for anyone interested in the Edwards-2012 situation.

Jack Roush seems to talk about his relationship with Edwards in past tense...

SPEED Racehub: Jack Roush - August 02, 2011 - NASCAR.COM Video

Everyone was buzzing about that prayer in Nashville a few weeks ago? Apparently, God didn't like that prayer.....

That track is no longer on the schedule for next year... seems rather abrupt to me.
