Looks like I picked up some ground in both the segment and overall standings. If I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes I wouldn't have believed Junior finally won one. Oh wow. Lol the reaction when I sent one of my Army buddies a text (I knew he was fishing and couldn't watch the race) telling him Jr won was absolutely priceless.

I know you all are celebrating the big Junior win, but bblackstone has somethign to celebrate too... he also won Fontana, a very similar track to Michigan, and won this one too!! bblackstone knows how to pick big fast tracks like these!! Congrats again!!!

I think I may wait until tomorrow to do a rundown for Sonoma. It's going to be a great race though, me thinks.

1 point gained on the overall lead... and Junior wins!!! Best Father's Day ever! I really should have been there, but that was a blast to watch on tv. If I drove to the track I would have had to stay sober. Which I can actually do it the grandstands. But driving out of there in the BudChev, everybody (pedestrian) would have wanted to share a drink/shot before I could escape - I've been through this!

I need to buy another Dale Jr Monte. I miss my old one. To make it even worse there's one for sale here in town. I just don't have the money for it.

Gas prices are coming down in the US.. hard to say where they will be in 2 months, it seems to be a very volatile market. It was $3.64 here in Oxford, NC in February, and they were projecting $5 a gallon by summer, everyone was panicing... yet I filled up the minivan for $3.18 a gallon today. Not complaining... been steadily coming down. Which is nuts, it always goes up at Memorial Day (when they run the Coke 600) and stays up all summer.... just the economy and nobody traveling or something....

Everythign about oil prices going up in the summer and down in the winter is just off the table these days. Gas prices dropped 10 cents going into the biggest travel weekend of the summer this year, so who knows. You might be able to drive it down for $125-150 US dollars if you drive it right

I'm glad Jr won, if Harvick dosn't win I root for Jr. I like him, but I get tired of the media and others talking about his win less streak. Congrats to BB also.
Keane These races are a lot harder to win this year.

In closing I will say the Fords let me down this year. they usually do good in Michigan.
