Well Brent are you trying to take Duane's job. Good insight. I too can make a day trip out of it and thought about going to it last night but decided not to for the same reason you stated. BORING... I have been to about 12 there and think the best seat is the one my A$$ is parked on right now.

I think Martin is in a Darrell Waltrip/Bill Elliott mode. Might as well quit. Nice guys finish last. He used to have it but doesn't want it bad enough.

What i mean is that a lot of people hadn't picked... a few of them just did. And Space, I don't know what a kid from 'Space may or may not know, but I know the one here is going for his third straight win!


Michigan is where Dale Jr.'s good luck run of 2011 ended this year... Mark Martin just drove straight into the side of him with like 10 laps to go, and he didn't seem to ever fully recover.

And Mark Martin is indeed in a Darrel Waltrip/Bill Elliott/Dale Jarrett/Rusty Wallace stage of his career.... Jeff Gordon was getting there for a while I thought, but now he has 2 wins and a contender for a championship this year.

My wins were just plain luck 4-Sure....Did you see my picks 4 today I just am having fun, but like NASCAR more since you took over as our MCF NASCAR Historian 4-Sure...

I'm going to listen to the beginning of the race on MRN & then rest & hopefully wake `up 2 listen to the last 50 laps..
*I hope Happy that the race is not rained out 2day..
Also, I'm always impressed with your NASCAR knowledge of present & past races & drivers....My SpaceBrain won't seem to hold that much information : )...
