Is Brent at the race again? I am at least going to Brickyard quals and maybe even the nationwide race that night. We almost went to Kentucky since its only 2.5 hours away but decided to save our $$ for the Brickyard weekend. That is less than an hour from me. Hunter and I have went to quals the last 2 years.

That is what my wife does, more or less...

After the first beer I drink a bunch more.

Okay, here's my picks, as uninteresting as can be. Just a bunch of solid points guys, but no jerky jerkhole heads....

1. Jimmie Johnson
2. Kurt Busch
3. Carl Edwards

1st caution: debris
# of cautions: 3
last: McDowell

Its not... its more fun at the short tracks! I've had the privelege of drinking that ritual beer in those grandstands too!

I'm not likely going to anymore races this year and Kentucky is pretty far down the last of tracks I want to see next. I'm thinking about making Dover the next track since I've never been. I've been to Talladega before, but its high on my list for returning to. I would also like to see Indy once in my life, but I'm not convinced the racing will be great there. Its also one of the closer tracks to home...

I was born/raised in that section of indiana right across the river from the Kentucky Speedway. I worked at the casino there, Belterra. Been to the indy car race there and one (or more) of the nascar races (can't remember if it was truck or nationwide.. maybe both). I liked going to that track and you can see the whole race unlike the brickyard. If they keep the race there, maybe I'll coordinate a vacation home on that weekend (all my family still lives there)

I'm glad you like - I thought it was kinda cool. But if you have any other ideas I'd be happy to incorporate them or work something else out. That one was the idea that spilled outta my head. I don't know you well enough yet to know what's spillin' outta yours.

Good luck in the race tonight!

points racing this week.

1. Kurt Busch, cuz he's hot right now
2. Carl Edwards, the league's BEST 1st place loser.
3. Kevin Harvick, cuz 3rd with a few laps led should keep him at the top of the points

I WAS going to pick Kyle Busch to win, but the wife LadyT picked him to win, so that's an automatic jinx. So I went with the other Busch.
