I never miss a Superspeedway race for apparent reasons. Now, you could tune in with 20 to go and not really miss a thing. I always want to see the big one, face it we all do and just hope our favorite driver wasn't involved and no one was hurt. I like the old style better but 2 car isnt that bad. Not as nerve racking.

I don't mind a 2 car draft package that allows them to go from the back to the front but I don't really care for the fact that they need a partner. If they could come up with a combo of things to make the cars more competitive one on one i would like it better.

Hi `Duane,
Great to see your thread & seeing the posts by our Nascar fan Member's. Do you think this year is going to be better then last years races ?

You should make a thread & have member's post "NOW" on who they think will be the champion this year ? & at the end of the season see who picked the winner ? Maybe ? or Maybe Not ?

I hope those in charge of NASCAR don't mess things up with changes

Thanks `Duane for your time & dedication + sharing your knowledge & opinions....I hope that we have many new members join the fun on your future MCF NASCAR Racing threads

As long as there are restrictor plates, I think this will NEVER happen.

I also noticed, with 20/20 hindsight, that 2-car drafting has always worked. Even when everyone was pack racing. The Daytona 500 always ended with 2 guys seemingly being the only ones to figure it out. Watch those last laps: Junior and Reutimann take a run at McMurray in 2010. Kurt pushed Newman before that. And that Talledega that BradK got Carl upside down in the fence - they were 2 car drafting to catch Jr & Newman. I think it was shortly after that race that they began to figure it out.

I don't have any good ideas to get them to stop this drafting or how much I want them too. I think I just kinda prefer watching guys race when they don't really know what they're doing. These guys are getting too good!

I agree with your views that after reduction in radiator from 5 gallons to 2 gallons NASCAR may be boring. Everyone watch NASCAR for car which fire on track with their speed and noise.

I don't remember anyone saying that the reduction in radiators would be boring. It didn't seem to screw up much of anything at Daytona testing last week. Also, the teams did convince NASCAR to let them run a higher pressure radiator cap.
