RE: Hendricks at it again!!
Does all this matter since Montoya is going to win at Watkins Glen also?[sm=gears.gif]
I love that program "Back in the Day!" Cheating was totally acceptable!

i guess whats done is done now, lets go to watkins glen and watch jeff win there or another top 5 or 10 would be nice to get back to his 200 point lead, he's still got a 171 point lead over the 2nd place driver, even after this stupid fine!

I have a real problem with this fine for a rule that never existed issue. If NASCAR really doesn't want you to mess with the body style for the COT, then they should just have an assembly line and build the exact same body for everyone and sell them to each team. End of story. Heck allow the public to buy them The Official COT by NASCAR.
NASCAR will supply the body, wing, frame, all that stuff - maybe even up to a rolling chassis. All the teams need to do is drop in their engines.
I've personally always gotten a kick out of NASCAR saying "don't cross this line" and then they proceed to draw it with a 5 foot wide Sharpie. Some teams can only go 1 inch before penalty, some can go 4 foot 11 inches before penalty. And in this case the line is made in the new Invisible Ink Sharpie.
