Street racing is the way to go IMO........

I would consider NASCAR endurance racing to a degree.... I can't watch it long but I could imagine it's got to be pretty hard on the body to sit there as long as they do under those conditions...

Nascar is the main reason why I bought a new Monte Carlo.... IRL runs Honda (yuk).

I used to like Gordon alot. Now I follow Biffle. I know he drives a Ford but I'm a homer for all American cars (even if they are made in Canada or Mexico). It may seem boring to most. I see it as a bunch of over-powered muscles cars running at full throttle for 5 hours in a sport that they were once not designed for. And doing it while not dropping a piston or getting into an accident. My first favorite driver was Bobby Allison in my most favorite no. 12, 1972 Monte Carlo of course. Used to go down to the Riverside Raceway and watch them spin out in dirt when they over ran the course. Remember when they were really stock cars?

As if we couldn't tell, huh? LOL My dad likes Sterling Marlin, I believe, but I don't really follow it that much. I'll spend about a half hour or so on it when it comes on because it looks GREAT on my DLP HDTV, but that's as much as my wife will tolerate it, then I have to change the channel. [:-]

I was raised a huge Bobby Allison fan. I later became a Gordon fan. Presently I'm a huge fan of Biffle. I think he has a lot of class and style and he is a sick driver. Too bad he drives those funky Fusions. Maybe he'll join a Chevy or Pontiac team.

oops, didn't know that this was a revived thread.

I grew up a huge Bill Elliott fan and now cheer for Kyle Bush or Jimmy Johnson. It was so cool to see Bill in a Hendricks Chevy this year
