CupPicks/Bristol/SatNight
It's time to go beating and banging for the Irwin Tools Night Race at Bristol!! Rememebr to congratulate 77GP Jerry for winning Michigan by picking 1-2-3, and remember to congratulate Blazed SS Keith for leading the segment and the overall points!
Now get those picks in for Bristol!
I precieve this one to be a bit of a "wild card." So I'll take...
1) Carl Edwards
2) Marcos Ambrose
3) Brad Keselowski

Ok guys, the nationwide thread is up now. Let's get some more people in on it this week! Remember, the nationwide is on Friday (and don't forget the cup is on Saturday instead of Sunday). Bristol is one of my favorite tracks.

Jimmie fans: Not that he is superstitious or anything, but has anyone heard that Jimmie and the team petitioned Lowe's to get rid of the predominatnly white car trimmed in blue, to go to a predominantly blue car trimmed in white, like what won the championship last year?
Like I said, not that they're superstitious... but the 48 ran 5 of its worse races since the teams inception in '02 and they went to the Jimmie Johnson foundation scheme after that and got a top 10... so Lowe's approved a switch back to the blue.
Anotehr historic team made such a switch... the 98 car currently in my signature was a number 26 for many years... the team just kept having good cars and bad luck... so Junior Johnson switched to 98 halfway through the 1968 season, won Trenton, then won 7 superspeedway races the next year, the most of any team up to that point in history.
so maybe a new paint job will do the 48 a whole bunch of the good.
