Pocono Sprint Cup race moved to Monday because of rain

LONG POND, Pa. — The Pennsylvania 400 Sprint Cup race at Pocono Raceway has been rescheduled for Monday at 11 a.m. ET (NBC Sports Network).
Heavy morning rains doused the track and NASCAR spent nearly three hours drying the 2.5-mile triangular surface before another shower ruined efforts before 3 p.m.
Both Sprint Cup races at the track were postponed this season, with Kurt Buschwinning on a Monday in June. This marks the first time the same track has had two rainouts in the same season.

Forecasts call for 65 degrees and isolated showers on Monday morning, with a 30 percent chance of showers. More substantial rain is forecast for the late morning and early afternoon.
