Nice...What type of CAI is that (thrasher)? I've been meaning to getting around and finally making the SLP intake functional with the MPD ram air hood I've got, but the intake top seems a bit small, it also looks like a stock box, which I'm just starting not to care for...

hey man its a Wizair
that I used a Hole saw and making tape to punch the hole into and then I modes a Boot form a Semi to make the soft rubber connecting hose
and then I used black windshield Epoxy to bond it all togather
and then I used blue line Chalk on the rim and closed the hood to make the hood and cut it and painted under the hood
let me know If you have any other questions

Awesome, thanks for soo much...
The hole in the plenum is already cut (I should have waited in retrospect) I just need to cut the cia top and put some high density foam to mate the hood to the top...However, I do like your boot idea as well.
Thanks for the heads up.

just do the chalk part in reverse mount the foam to the hood temporally and then close it to mark the Air box and you will be good to go. I went with the boot instead of foam because the Strut bar dictates the location & if thats not bad enough then the foam is about 1 inch wide and 2"1/2 tall to hold up to the air pressure from the Ram so it may be a 4 inch hole in the hood but a 3 " hole goes into the air box .This way I was 4" on the hood and 4" in to the air box & more air .I hope that makes since . That strut brace really gets in the way .

Makes total sense, thanks again.
