I live in LaCrosse Wi. I own a 2003 chevy monte carlo ss. I bought the car on Feb 28th 2004. I tradded my 2001 monte carlo ls in with 56,000. My 03 only had 8,000 on it!!!! My current mods are mainly appearance mods but with some performance mods as well. this spring when i pull the monte back out of winter storage I plan to do some serious performance work. Some of which include a tranny swap and engine work. I'm still undecided as to what I want to do to the engine....supercharge? turbo? N/A? most of my car friends say turbo! what do you think? Lately I have been doing some electrical work to the monte. I enjoy doing all the installs myself. I can take my time and know i did it right the first time and be happy with the results. thats also why it has taken me so long to get to where i am now. I ponder and ponder when it comes to the appearance of the car, because i know if i rush something i know down the road i will probably get board of it and realize it doesn't belong there. for those of you that are having trouble posting pics here because of the size format fear no more. that was the reason that i have been a member since Feb 09 and not have any pics. its because I couldnt figure out how to reduce the images to fit here. I went to www.picresize.com its all free and no adds or signing up or taking surveys. and they do not collect your pics! Signed the guest book. So sad, he was so young and just starting his adventure of life.

“Don’t be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends.” Richard Bach I did not know `Kris, but I've learned that he loved `life and enjoyed his journey until the `end. It's sad :( that it ended so early, but I hope he is in a better place & enjoying his new `journey at another level to it's fullest. `amen I'm thankful that our MCF Forum could honor `Kris with a Monte of the Month Win for November 2013. p.s. Thanks `Lisa for your thread letting the Staff & member's know about this sad loss. :( |
I wonder if anyone from the facebook page is going to come and honor his passing/MOTM on our forum?
Kris: To young to soon! Condolences to his family and friends. |
