SS gauge cluster

I have a 04 Monte Carlo LS. The gauge cluster contains the fuel gauge, speedo, tach, and temp gauges.
I'm wondering if I can put in a SS gauge package to get the oil gauge and voltmeter?

RE: SS gauge cluster

I don't know about the Monte, but I have a 97 Escort LX that had a small fire inside of it. I went to the pick-a-parts and pulled an instrument cluster off of a Tracer station wagon that had the full guage package and tach. It plugged right it to the Escort and all the iinstruments worked. It only cost $25.

Look at my response for the same question here:

For an 04, it must be an 02-05 cluster. The oil gauge will not work on the 3.4L. You'll need to have your mileage programmed into the new cluster

thanks to everyone who responded. I was hoping it would be a simple plug-n-play upgrade.
I think I'll be leaving well enough alone.

Just like this thread. No one has posted to this thread since 2007. Many of these members are long gone. I would recommend posting a new thread to see if anyone knows the answer to what you seek.
