SS brake calibers

I have a 2001 SS and I'm planning on changing the front rotors and pads. My question is what type of tool do I need to remove the caliber? I had a 96 Z34 that need a torx socket (star shape) to remove the caliber, but I don't have it anymore.

its just a regular bolt on the 6th gen... really easy now. I wanna say it was metric to

Thanks!

Yep- I was thrilled when I saw that they went to a normal bolt head when I originally got my old 00 impala. I was just worried about that torx stripping out, especially with how rusty they got.

all 6th gen mc's brake systems use the same size 15mm for the guide pins and anchor bolts

14 or 15 mm i think

I should have bought a metric socket set a long time ago but I guess I will now since i'm going to be doing my first brake job ever here pretty soon. Brakemotive rotors/pads FTW!
