Replaced lower intake gasket and cant find where plug goes. HELP PLEASE!

Default Replaced lower intake gasket and cant find where plug goes. HELP PLEASE!

I cant seem to find where this plug goes. Its behind the Alt. on a 3.8 series 2.
Any ideas?

Looks like the plug that goes into the EVAP (black canister looking thing, on the black bar that leads from the middle of the engine to the alternator, behind the motor obviously)

It could also be EGR or a brake master cylinder plug

I dont know if that even goes anywhere, Its off on my car also and its been running fine so idk.

Also have the same plug and it's not connected either.

Thanks for the replies. It ran fine without it but, now I'm dealing with a no start issue unrelated to the plug.

Is it trying to start at all? Will it crank? If it won't even crank, it's likely a starter issue, ground issue, or charging issue

It doesn't go anywhere. It's for the L67/air pump we share harnesses.

It will turn over and is getting fuel but no spark. I think its the CPS...I ran a test to check the sensor and found that the 18x signal has constant power and the voltage doesnt drop when I turn it over slowly by hand.

Don't rule out the ICM going bad
