7th Gen ('06-'07): Remote start not working after windshield replacement
Hey fellow MC owners. I recently had to have my factory windshield replaced in my '06 Monte Carlo SS and now my remote start isn't working. The headlights light up and sometimes it makes a clicking noise, but never attempts to start.
Side notes:
The OEM glass is no longer available, so I had to go with an aftermarket PGW glass.
The tire pressure monitor sensors are apparently dead (I'm getting the service tire pressure monitor system code and have been prior to the windshield replacement) and I'm not sure if the two are related or not?
The windshield replacement company just left and they don't go any further than replacing the glass and I haven't done any diagnostics yet (like unhooking and rehooking the battery), but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this issue and hopefully it's an easy fix. I only use the remote start in the winter, so it's been several months since I've used it, but it's never not worked since I've owned the car, which I bought brand new in 06.
Any help or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
