Recent Accident seeking parts

I was recently in an accident in our 1984 Monte Carlo.
It's in pretty good condition for a car that is 34 years old, aside from some cosmetic damage and fading of paint from the constant sun in the central valley of California.
The care has never seen snow, rarely in rain, and just am eye-catching vehicle.

Sadly, now it needs some work, and I am getting estimates from as low as $1800 to as much as $8500.
We aren't afraid to get in and do the work ourselves, especially if that frees up some funds for a complete paint job (something we've wanted since we purchased)

I am looking for a reliable place to purchase a new hood (because repairing the original is estimated to cost almost $500)
a new front drivers fender, front fiberglass fascia, and headlight mount.

Has anyone purchased from OPGI? I hear that aftermarket parts could potentially lead to more frustration than necessary.

Also, does anyone know of a reliable appraisal company? I am hoping they don't declare my car a total loss and I then need to shell all repair funds out of pocket.

Thanks in advance.
