Rear defroster not working

I've got a 2006 Monte Carlo and the rear defroster grid is not working. I pulled the relay and tested it, checks out good. I wiggled the wires on the rear glass but still nothing. I am at a loss. The back seat is not used so no one would have hit a wire or part of the grid. Everything looks intact.

Any help would be great.

Hi Michael, & Welcome to the MCFSorry to read that you are having problems with your 06 Monte : (Isn't your Monte still under warranty ?
Sounds like a short somewhere. Try replacing the fusesagain, and check the relays too. Also, check againthe wires running across the rear window. Sometimes if one is broken, it shorts out the whole system. There is also a connector along the side, make sure it didn't come loose.

Test the Switch to the Defroster, & make sure the contacts

are good.

RE: Rear defroster not working

Mine isn't working either. Thinking I might have pulled a wire loose when I pulled the underhood fuse panel to changed s/c pulleys. Hoping it's a fuse, tho. My mirrors heat.
